My Career PathStructure / Dedication / Gratification
In the future, I would like to be a prestigious philosophy professor at Yale, not many women teach philosophy probably because of the intimidation. Although I’d like to be known for my likability and encouragement for fellow women to partake in my philosophy class. I’d live comfortably in New Haven, journaling and publishing pieces of literature when I can. In the summers I’d visit my family back home both in Morocco and in the Bay!

The Vision

Admiration.
My mother has my admiration; she is a very understanding and considerate person, and I aspire to be just like her one day. Timothee Chalamet is another person I admire; he is one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever came across. He actually motivated me to begin showing kindness to others, whether it was by complimenting them or telling them something lovely about themselves. I usually admire people who put kindness first. They remain optimistic regardless of their circumstances, and they don't put others down even when they are down. Life Goals. Being content is one of my major life goals. In junior year, I wrote an essay about The Great Gatsby and how, despite having all the riches in the world, he was unhappy with his life and direction. As a result, no matter how wealthy I am, I still want to be happy and healthy. If we're talking about tangible things, I'd like to get a master's degree in philosophy and be able to travel the world without worrying about the cost or other factors. Skills. I have many skills but that doesn't mean I'm still not going to make mistakes in those said skills. I believe that making mistakes is the best way to learn because your brain focuses on the mistake and it aligns improvement. A skill or characteristic I would like to hone would be my growth mindset, my understanding, and my kindness. I always get told about how kind I am and how memorable I am at work, so with all that in mind I would definitely hone those skills. My mind often wanders and grasps on main ideas that they said, but want to be that person who listens to the whole idea and concentrates on exactly what they're trying to get across. Travels. I need a trip away from social media, although that might be a little hard in this day and age. My all-time dream trip to take while I'm still young and full of life would be to Monte Carlo or Cannes, France. I honestly love the culture, the food and the scenery. I could spend ages on the beach lounging and playing in the waves with my little sister, or racing with my dad on the coast. it would be an ideal trip, a dream trip for one. |
